To begin motorcycle training, you'll need to have at least a UK provisional licence. You can learn more about obtaining a UK provisional licence here.

You can complete your CBT with Oxfordshire Motorcycle Training. Check out our CBT course details for more information.

At 16, you can only complete a CBT. Once you turn 17, you have the option to upgrade your licence. For details on completing your CBT with Oxfordshire Motorcycle Training, view our CBT information.

At 17-18, the highest licence you can obtain is the A1. From 19-23, you can upgrade to a higher category. While we can help you achieve your A1 licence, we usually recommend waiting until you're 19 to take the A2 licence. This is due to the costs associated with the A1 course and the need for additional training to upgrade later. However, if you're content with riding a 125cc bike and don’t plan to move up to a higher category, the A1 licence might be the right choice for you. If that’s the case, please contact us, and we can arrange your A1 training.

At 19-23, you must hold an A2 licence for at least two years before you can obtain a full motorcycle licence. To obtain your A2 licence with Oxfordshire Motorcycle Training, please book with us. If you already have your CBT, you can book an A2 course without needing to retake the CBT. More information on New test rules. If you have any questions please contact us.

You are now eligible to proceed to your full motorcycle licence. For more details, please visit our DAS course information.
