The main change to the motorcycle test is the Direct Access Scheme (DAS) age is going up from 21 to 24. However, if you are aged 21 – 23 and have held an A2 licence for a minimum of two years, you can also take a full motorcycle test to ride a bike of any size. This is known as the progressive access route. You will need to complete the CBT and theory test first for both the DAS and the progressive access routes.
